Johnny Bush & Justin Trevino
"Texas On A Saturday Night"

"Texas Country Music" in recent years has been categorized by a new breed of "outlaw" musicians playing primarily for college students throughout the Lone Star State.  This movement has been very popular and brought many into the fold.  Young people who had never listened to Country Music in the past have been turned on to the industry by this so called "Texas Country Music."

"Texas On A Saturday Night" is the real deal-authentic Texas Country Music. It is music with heavy emphasis on the steel guitar and fiddle.  Music that you can dance to while enjoying a cold beer and memories and thoughts of that lost love.

This project brings two individuals together that perform the true form of Texas Country each and every week in honkytonks and dance halls throughout our great state.  Johnny Bush is a legend with fans all over the world. Justin Trevino is continuing in the legendary traditions created for him by John, Lefty, George, Hank, Ernest and Ray.

"Texas On A Saturday Night" was a labor of love for both of these great artists because of their adoration of each other.  Justin chose the majority of the songs on this project and leaned towards the honkytonk shuffle anthems that John and so many others created throughout the 50's, 60's and even 70's.

For those fans of real Texas Country, this is the album that we have been wanting.  The musician showmanship and vocals from two of the best guarantee that this album will be played not only on Saturday night, but all throughout the week as well.
